Rigid Inspections offers pre-drywall inspections for new homes. A pre-drywall inspection is an inspection of a home during it’s construction right before insulation goes in and drywall goes up.
A pre-drywall inspection is an inspection of the following components (assuming they are in the home at the time of inspection):
- Roofing
- Framing (interior walls, exterior walls, roof trusses, floor structures)
- Exterior walls, Flashing, and WRB (weather resistant barrier aka Tyvek)
- Exterior Doors
- Windows
- Garage Floor Slab
- Basement Floor Slab
- Roughed in Electrical
- Roughed in Plumbing
- Roughed in Mechanical (HVAC, Ducts, Exhausts, Venting)
- Foundation
I offer the pre-drywall inspection at a discounted rate if you will also be hiring me to do a final inspection once the home is complete.
I highly recommend a pre-drywall inspection as there are almost always issues with the build that are covered up with drywall and never found until it’s too late. Book your pre-drywall inspection here: Schedule Now
